The story of the Reverso begins in 1931. With its rectangular and reversible dial, simple and refined lines, and iconic gadroons, this Art Deco-style watch revolutionized the art of watchmaking. In what was then British India, it became the essential accessory for officers who enjoyed playing polo. In homage to this glorious past, the Reverso Tribute Small Seconds revives the codes of the first Reversos born in the thirties and their sumptuous colored dials. This new interpretation with a customizable reverse features a deeply intense green dial. On the wrist, this green shimmers with vibrant reflections under the light.

Reverso Tribute
The Reverso Tribute revives the codes of the first Reverso born in 1931. Continually reinvented without compromising its identity, the trapezoidal applied indexes echo the form of the Dauphine hands, creating a modern interpretation of the original watch. The Reverso Tribute houses an outstanding range of complications: from simple to the most complex, displayed from one side and beyond.
Sense of style
The Reverso Tribute pays homage to the colourful models made in 1931. Today, its sunray-brushed dial is adorned with colours to bring a strong sense of style without compromising the integrity of the original design. The matching strap, specially designed by the famous Argentinian bootmaker Casa fa*gliano, brings even more character to the Reverso Tribute models.
Heritage
Born out of a challenge
In 1930, businessman César de Trey was challenged to find a way to protect the glass of a watch for polo players during matches. de Trey’s idea was inspired; a case that could be flipped over. He approached his friend Jacques-David LeCoultre to produce the watch and the pair engaged René-Alfred Chauvot to design it. And so the Reverso was born.
