Needs to be in stock to price match and purchased less than 30 days ago. They may make an exception if you ask so could be worth a shot.

I called Greenworks and asked about the extended warranty for Costco described at this link. He confirmed it should apply for Canada as well, and he put in an internal request to update the verbiage to specifically mention Canada. Pretty important since the website link is greenworkstools.ca.

Thank you for this precious information!
Also, did someone registered his lawn mower?
I don't see an option for the self-propelled mower. Not sure what to choose.

This is the Self-Propelled Mower - SKU#2500341COVT, Model# 2500341COVT (in my case), Costco Item# 1660508.
Make sure you save your Registration Confirmation Number.
You may need them to provide to get your items linked to your account later, and I didn't get an email when I completed registration, so it's the only time you'll get it.

Yes, that's why i'm asking, because i don't see a self-propelled option in the registration list.

I picked one up today. Some stores around the lower mainland have restocked, as there was 13 in Surrey. And my Dad called me while I was driving to get mine asking if the one he was looking at in Burnaby is what I was after. Nothing in Langley or Abbotsford, but both said to check back in a couple days, so it looks like restocks may be happening in the lower mainland.
That said, now I'm curious as to whether the new version is worth it... Burnaby and Surrey both are the green box, which looks to be the old version?

What is Chans? My worx lawn mower battery died and it seems like such a waste to throw the mower in the garbage..

Thanks for this as I've been looking around the lower mainland myself. As you said, Langley didn't have it on Tuesday when I went.

There were about 10+ units at the Heartland Costco (5900 Rodeo Dr.) this morning. It's the newer model too, item number 1704200.
I picked one up and saw another guy buy one too.

Anything in Ottawa/Gatineau?
How can an ant carry twenty times its body weight, but root beer floats are still delicious?

Both Burnaby (Willingdon) and Surrey have the old version. But I'm not sure if there's any real difference other than colour?
One of these pictures I took in Surrey, the other was from my Dad in Burnaby. So both are the older style.

Yeah $599. My plan was to go to Dixie but hit up heartland first, saved me a trip across town

Looks the same.
Let's go to the grocery store, The grocery store, the grocery store.
Let's go to the grocery store. I need to buy some food.

Cordless is maintenance free and as a bonus, you won't smell like exhaust fumes after mowing. Not to mention how much better it is for your lungs.
My no name (MTD?) gas mower was bought from Walmart for $200 in 2008. Still going strong. Maintenance zero. Original oil and spark plug, no smoke. Had the blade sharpened twice.
Every spring I pull the handle and I am surprised it starts. I don't even take out the gas over the winter.
Would like an electric one, but I am sure no battery lasts 16 years...

This is no different then saying a gas powered car will outlast the electric one

Not really, not unless you change the oil in the car
We of course have 20-30 years old ICE cars. We don't have electric ones that old, because they are not that old, but we will see in 10 years where we stand.
I am interested in this mower because it's self propelled, and my back is killing me when I push the mower. On the other hand, I can put up with that, and the way the economy is going, those $700 may look better in my bank account.
